Faster, simpler and better looking than any website, Watson -- the Mac OS X utility that scrapes info from eBay, Moviefone, Yahoo, and other services -- may be too useful for its own good. What legal havoc will the site operators wreak on poor programmer Dan Wood when his elegant code proves their ad-smothered, graphic-encrusted HTML pointless?

Replace the word "scraping" with "surfing," and all Watson becomes, then, is a different kind of Web browser. No harm at all to the eBays, Yahoos!, and AOLs of the world. Absolutely harmless. Like a little kitty. Nice kitty. Don't kill the kitty.
