On August 27, I attempted to add -- without success -- Google's SiteSearch to this weblog's sidebar. Two days later, Matt Haughey of PVRblog wrote Everything TypePad! a tip about adding Google Search to your TypePad weblog. I post not to boast (my hack didn't work), but to note how fast a good hack moves through the blogosphere. As fast as the rumormill, but without many of the side effects.
