Automat

I like the word "automatic." It feels '50s ... yet progressive. Taylor's Automatic Refresher, always a favorite stop in Napa Valley. Better than automatic, though, is "Automat." The trademarked automated restaurant services (in which food is dispensed from vending machines) are rare sights these days, which makes it all the more savvy for Google to use the moniker for their rumored classified ad service. I use eBay, Craigslist, and Amazon in a vain attempt to thin out our closets and garage. I haven't placed a classified newspaper ad in years. If Automat does for classifieds what AdSense and AdWords have done for advertising, I may actually be able to park my car inside.
