Still trying to get a grip on all the new Web 2.0 social networking sites, such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, LinkedIn and the rest. The mashups among them are interesting, but definitely confusing -- even for someone who has a passing familiarity with starting accounts online. I'm looking for a bookmarklet that allows me to post quickly from any device to all the services whatever I'm doing with a minimum of fuss. However, each site seems to prefer their own as your home -- no doubt to capture some ad revenue. Do all these parts really add up to "users and relationships between users, their ideas, and an ecosystem"? One day. And then maybe I can get some work done.

Finally, after 17 hours and four phone calls, AT&T has activated my iPhone. Glitches and gaps aside, I think the device will change mobile computing for the better. I snapped some photos with the 2MB camera in Capitola this morning and Los Gatos this afternoon. My wish list for future features is almost as endless as my satisfaction with the model on sale now. No morning after hangover for me.
